Oily Skin Care Tips : How To Take Care Of Oily Skin
Posted: Apr 14 2016
There are many misconceptions and misunderstandings about how to treat oily skin, or how to make it less oily.
You may actually be doing the very things that cause oily skin while trying to fix it, so read this post carefully.
The first thing you should do which seems obvious is to cleanse your skin daily, or even twice daily with a regular or medicated soap, using a gentle circular motion, and then pat dry.
The next thing is exfoliating, which shouldn't be done too roughly, and might benefit from using a cream like our Tightening & Toning Retinol Exfoliating Resurfacer.
Moisturizing and toning are important for treating oily skin, and you could buy the two things separately, or you could buy two in one, along with many other beneficial, anti aging ingredients in our Moisturizing Even Skin Toner, which also contains botanical extracts and antioxidants.
You should use a sunscreen, at least when going out in the sun for more than half an hour, but perhaps go for a gel based sunscreen which is less oily.
Stay away from sugar and junk food, drink lots of water, and eat healthy foods like fruits and vegetables.
All of these things contribute to a decrease in oil in the skin, and if you are going to wear makeup, perhaps use a primer first, before putting on an oil free or mineral foundation, if foundation is necessary at all.
If you find that you are not happy with your natural looking skin for other reasons, such as having blotchy red skin, acne scars, hypo-pigmentation, freckles, etc, we can help with that as well.
Apart from offering a great range of anti aging products, we also sell skin whitening creams, which can cover up just about anything.
Skin Renews has the power to renew your skin and make it look as good as it ever did in the past, or even better. Or, that is the case with most of our customers.
